1July 28th, 2012 - On Saturday night the team rolled into Lafayette County Speedway (Darlington, Wisconsin) for another Corn Belt Clash event, which drew a field of twenty-nine competitors. Heat race action found Rauen finishing fourth after starting last. He would go on to win the b-main to lock into the seventeenth starting spot for the finale. During the course of the main event Jason raced forward fourteen spots on his way to a third place finish behind race winner, Chris Simpson, and Chad Simpson. 1July 27th, 2012 - It was back to business with the Corn Belt Clash tour on Friday night at Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois). Thirty Super Late Models entered the event, and after suffering a flat tire in heat race action Jason was forced to run a b-main. In the consolation event he claimed the final transfer spot to lock into a starting spot deep in the feature grid. July 21st, 2012 - The team took their #98 Rauen Precision Machining/MB2 IMCA Late Model into battle on Saturday night at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) for the IMCA Fair Race. Twenty-one competitors entered the event, and the night started on a rough note as contact in heat race action relegated him to a sixth place finish. Via his heat race difficulties he was forced to start eighteenth on the grid for the main event. During the course of the feature he advanced eight spots on his way to a tenth place finish. July 15th, 2012 - After being rained out on Saturday night at Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) Jason took his new #98 IMCA Late Model into battle with the Deery Brothers Summer Series on Sunday evening at Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa) on the 1/2 mile oval. With a $2,000 winner's check on the line for the event Rauen began his night by claiming his heat race to lock into the sixth starting position for the main event. In the feature Rauen advanced four spots on his way to a second place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.IMCA.com.

July 7th, 2012 - Looking to get his season back on track Jason traveled to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Saturday night for a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event at the 3/8 mile oval. Thirty-one competitors were on hand for the event, and after qualifying fourteenth fastest in time trials, Rauen earned the fifth starting spot for the second heat race. Unfortunately in the heat race, mechanical woes would force him pitside, and the same issues would prevent him from transferring to the 50 lap finale via the b-main. 1July 6th, 2012 - Jason returned to the familiar confines of his #98 MB2 Rauen Precision Machining Super Late Model on Friday night at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) for a $7,500-to-win, UMP DIRTCar Summernationals event. Thirty-one Super Late Models registered for battle, and after qualifying fourth fastest in his group in time trials, Rauen started fourth in the third heat race and finished third to lock into the eleventh starting spot for the main event.
