1July 25th, 2014 - Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) was the destination for the team on Thursday night, as the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series invaded the oval for a $10,000-to-win program. Twenty-five Super Late Models registered for battle, and started his outing by topping the qualifying charts in time trials with a 14.00 seconds lap. Unfortunately, heat race struggles would leave him short of a transfer position, sending him to a b-main. In the b-main Jason finished third, locking him into the 21st starting spot for the main event. In the feature Rauen advanced to an eighteenth place finish in the final rundown. 1On Friday evening the team invaded Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) for a $3,000-to-win, Corn Belt Clash (CBC) Late Model Series event. Twenty-three Super Late Models converged on the oval, which was left heavy and rough courtesy of Mother Nature. Despite track conditions, a heat race win positioned Jason starting fifth in the finale. In the main event, Jason looped his #98 machine on the second circuit of the 40 lapper to bring out the race's first caution flag. Rejoining the tail the field Rauen began his march back to front. As the laps wound down Jason was battling just outside the top five when disaster struck with five laps to go. Bringing out the red flag, Jason barrel rolled while battling for position. July 13th, 2014 - Jason Rauen opened a busy weekend with a UMP Weekly Racing Series program on Friday night at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa). Twenty-two Super Late Models registered for the event, and a seventh to third run in heat race action position Jason starting sixth in the finale. During the course of the feature Rauen advanced four spots to a second place finish behind race winner, Chris Simpson. Jason Perry, Justin Reed, and Ray Guss rounded out the top five finishers. 1On Saturday evening action shifted to 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) for a $10,000-to-win, UMP Summer Nationals event. Twenty-six entries filled the pit area, and after qualifying ninth in his group during time trials Jason went on to finish sixth in his heat race. As a result he would have to run a C-Main where he claimed the win to lock into the sixteenth starting spot for the 40 lap feature. 1The weekend drew to a close on Sunday night at Jason resumed competition with the Deery Brothers Summer Series at Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa). Thirty-three IMCA Late Model registered for the event, which posted a $3,000 winner's check. Jason came from sixth to finish second in his heat race, earning him the sixth starting spot for main event. Unfortunately, mechanical woes during the 50 lapper resulted in him retiring to a disappointing 24th place finish. Full results from the program are available at www.IMCA.com

1July 8th, 2014 - Jason was back in action over the weekend with the Deery Brothers Summer Series at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa). A talented field of thirty-two entries registered for the $3,000-to-win event, and struggles in heat race action left Jason to run a b-main. He went on to a seventh place finish in the b-main, but only the top four finishers moved on to the main event. As a result Jason would have to utilize a series provisional to gain access into the 40 lap finale. Rauen went on to record a 23rd place finish in the final rundown of the caution free event.
