1January 10th, 2016 - Returning for the fourth night of action in the Wild West Shootout, Jason Rauen scored a 2nd place heat finish yet failed to get enough passing points to make the show. Transferring the top three out of the B-Main and into the feature, Rauen came up three spots short with a 6th place finish.

On Saturday night in a field of fifty-eight entries, Jason found himself in the feature for the first time after failing to make the main event from his 4th place heat finish. Starting on the front row for his B-Main, Rauen cruised to consolation win transferring him into the main event with a 9th row starting position. With $5,000 on the line, Jason Rauen retired a 21st place finish in the 30-lap affair.

Competing in the final night of action in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout, Jason Rauen was one of sixty cars signed in for the top prize of $11,000 on Sunday night. Following a 5th place heat finish, Jason had one more shot at the grand finale feature with a B-Main performance. Needing a 3rd place finish or better, Rauen logged a 6th place spot bringing an early end to his night.

1January 10th, 2016 - Jason Rauen kicked off the 2016 season by making the trip to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday for the 10th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Drawing sixty Super Late Models for the six-day unsanctioned event, Jason recorded an 8th place heat finish transferring him into the B-Main. Falling one spot short of a transfer spot, Rauen logged a 4th place consolation outing.

1The following night in a field of fifty-seven cars, Jason Rauen registered a 6th place heat finish sending him into the B-Main for one more shot at the $5,000-to-win feature. Transferring the top three, Jason came up one spot short again retiring a 4th place finish.
