July 29th, 2016 - On Friday night Jason Rauen visited Fayette County Speedway (West Union, Iowa) for the Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series sanctioned program. Battling for a $5,000 payday in the Fayette County Fair Race, Rauen fell back to a 17th place outing in the A-Main.

July 9th, 2016 - Returning with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Jason Rauen made the short trip Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) on Thursday night for the $8,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of twenty-five Super Late Models, Rauen fell one position short of a transfer spot into the feature with a 7th place finish in his heat. Placing 3rd in his consolation event, Jason earned a 21st place starting spot for the feature. Losing three positions in the 40-lap affair, Jason Rauen logged a 24th place outing.

Back in his home-state with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Jason Rauen headed to Mason City Motor Speedway (Mason City, Iowa) on Friday for the $10,000-to-win Wild West Tour A-Main. Sending the top six out of the heats, Rauen logged an 8th place outing transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 4th place finish or better to make the show, Jason edged his way into the 50-lap A-Main with a 4th place spot. Dropping two positions in the main event, Jason Rauen retired a 24th place finish.

The following night brought Jason and thirty-five competitors to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 A-Main. Placing 4th in his heat, Rauen was slated to start 16th for the 50-lap A-Main. With $11,000 on the line, Jason Rauen retired a 22nd place outing.
