May 21st, 2015 - The 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) came to life on Thursday evening with the 2nd Annual Cowboy Classic. A stout field of eighty Super Late Models entered the $5,045-to-win event, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA).

Jason began his night by qualifying 9th fastest in time trials to earn the 3rd starting spot for his heat race. A 2nd place finish in his heat sent Rauen to the 45 lap finale, where he started 11th. He would race in the top ten early in the event before retiring to an 18th place finish.

Friday evening found preliminary action for the $30,000-to-win, Show Me 100 being held. With eighty entries on hand for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event, Jason registered the 6th fastest time in his group, which positioned him starting on the front row of his heat race. He battled at the front of the pack in his heat before the handle began to fade on his entry. He would ultimately finish in the 10th spot, which left him starting deep in a b-main on Saturday evening. Unfortunately before the b-main could be contested, rain arrived forcing the balance of the program to be postponed until July.

May 15th, 2015 - Jason Rauen took part in the opening round of the Tri Track Challenge on Friday night at Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) in his Black Diamond #98 IMCA Late Model. A strong field of twenty-nine entries registered for battle in the $2,000-to-win event, and Rauen started his outing by advancing from the 8th starting spot in his heat race to a 2nd place finish.

Via his performance in preliminary action he earned the 3rd starting spot for the main event. He would battle in the top five early in the event before the handle began to go away on his entry. He would ultimately finish in the 10th position.

May 2nd, 2015 - Jason entered a pair of IMCA Late Model events over the weekend in his home state of Iowa. On Friday night he went into battle at Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa). With twenty-four entries on hand Rauen earned the 7th starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. He would go on to advance to a 4th place finish.

Saturday evening took the team to West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa), where Rauen started 9th and finished 7th.
