April 24th, 2016 - Jason Rauen visited Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Friday night competing in the Super Late Model division. Battling in a field of sixteen cars, Jason worked his way up to a 4th place finish in the feature behind Tyler Bruening, Jon Merfeld, and John Emerson with Joel Callahan coming in 5th. On Sunday night Jason made the trip to Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa) for the IMCA weekly racing series event. Competing in the Out-Pace Racing Products A-Main, Rauen landed a runner-up finish in the feature behind Luke Merfeld with Luke Goedert, Joel Callahan, and Dan Shelliam rounding out the top five.

April 16th, 2016 - Competing in the IMCA Deer Brothers Summer Series event, Jason Rauen headed to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Friday night piloting the Rauen Precision Machining #98 Super Late Model. With a stacked field of forty cars signed in, Jason captured a heat race win transferring him into the main event with a 3rd place starting position. Holding his spot for all 50 laps, Rauen scored a 3rd place finish behind Curt Martin and Joe Zrostlik with Tyler Bruening and Ryan Dolan rounding out the top five.The following night brought Jason to Hamilton County Raceway (Webster City, Iowa) for another $2,000-to-win feature. Battling in a field of twenty-five Super Late Models, Rauen reeled in a 10th place outing in the A-Main.
