1May 28th, 2016 - Jason Rauen made the trip to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Cowboy Classic. Drawing a stacked field of fifty-seven cars, Rauen edged his way into the $6,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place outing in his heat race. Following a rain delay that held off the 45-lap feature for a nearly an hour, Rauen improved three spots in the A-Main recording a 13th place finish.

1The following night for the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson feature, Rauen posted the fastest time in his group earning him the pole position starting spot for his heat. Falling out of a transfer position, Rauen transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $6,000-to-win A-Main. Transferring the top two, Jason edged his way into the feature with a 2nd place outing behind Will Vaught. With 40-laps to gain some ground, Jason Rauen recorded a 22nd place finish in the feature. Wrapping up the three-day LOLMDS event on Saturday night, Jason earned an 18th place starting spot for the 24th Annual Show-Me 100 via the previous two night’s results. With $30,000 on the line, Rauen fell back to a 26th place outing after an early tangle-up on lap 10.

1May 20th, 2016 - Jason Rauen visited to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) on Friday night for the Tri-Track Challenge. Holding on to his 5th place starting spot in his heat, Rauen secured his spot into the feature. Battling in a field of twenty-three cars, Jason was disqualified from the event.

1May 6th, 2016 - Traveling with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), Jason Rauen visited Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa) on Thursday night for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Failing to place 3rd or better in his heat, Rauen transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the feature. 1Returning with the Lucas Oil MLRA Series, Jason traveled to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday for another $3,000-to-win show. Placing 4th in his heat race, Rauen secured his spot into the main event. With 40-laps to gain some ground, Jason Rauen recorded a 21st place finish.
