May 26th, 2017 - Making the first start of the season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Jason Rauen headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday night for the 25th annual Show-Me 100 weekend. In a stout field of 67 Super Late Models, Rauen secured his spot into the opening night Cowboy Classic A-Main with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 15th for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Jason retired early from the main event after bringing out a caution on lap 24.

Returning on Friday evening for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Jason passed three cars in his heat race to place 8th sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 2 into the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Rauen came up two positions short with a 4th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

After severe weather in the area postponed Saturday’s 25th annual Show-Me 100 to Sunday afternoon, Rauen was slated to start 3rd in his B-Main until he suffered mechanical issues in hot-laps, preventing him from making it out for his consolation event.
