11October 28th, 2017 - With Chris Simpson hopping behind the wheel of the Rauen Precision Machining #98 Super Late Model, Jason Rauen headed to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic. Drawing 42 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned weekend, Simpson followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Dennis Erb Jr. Rolling off 5th for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Simpson improved two spots in the 100-lapper notching a 4th place finish behind Scott Bloomquist, Brandon Overton, and Dennis Erb Jr. with Morgan Bagley coming in 5th. 11October 7th, 2017 - Jason Rauen made the trip to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned Fall Nationals. With 31 Super Late Models signed in for the two-day event, Rauen logged an 8th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 6 into the opening night feature, Jason scored a 5th place finish positioning him 22nd on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Returning on Saturday night for the $5,000 top prize, Rauen posted a 5th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 6th place finish or better to make the $5,000-to-win finale, Jason scored a 3rd place finish earning him the 19th-starting position.  Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Jason Rauen registered a 20th place outing.
